動画共有「YouTube」、日本から月200万人利用(ITmedia News)
米国の投稿動画共有サイト「YouTube」が、日本で月間200万人以上に利用されている――ネットレイティングスが4月27日に発表した3月のネット利用調査（家庭からのアクセス）で、急速に高まるYouTubeの存在感が浮き彫りになった。
日本からの訪問者数は、昨年12月以降急増。3月には212万1000人が利用した。国内ネットユーザーの5.2％が利用している計算で、「全内容が英語で提供されているWebサイトとしては異例な利用率」（同社）という。
米国では月間776万人、ネットユーザーの5.4％が利用しており、利用率は日米ほぼ同率だ。
212万1000人って多すぎ。
